Finally after 4 weeks of soccer watching for almost every night, world cup ended with Italy winning in the most spectacular fashion- penalty kicks. The entertainment value provided by the final is immense, from a 4th minute penalty which shouldn't be, to the lousy refereering by the same referee who wrongfully sent off Rooney, to the exciting corners Italy impose on France using their height advantage to the near goal by Zidane with his glancing header which Buffon saved superbly to the most spectacular moment- the ending of Zidane's international career in bizarre fashion-head-butting of metarazzi's chest( He couldn't headbutt the head because of height difference..haha)after some exchange of words between the 2. He was promptly sent off, and it was downhill for France after that.

Italy deserved to win although my prediction before the game was for France to lift it. With Cannavaro being impressive in the defence, Grosso a revelation this World cup, Pirlo showing his impressive playmaker role spraying the passes, Gattuso the fearless tackler to cover the midfield in times of danger, you don't need an attack that is too fantastic like Argentina's or Spain's. Defence always work in cup tournaments. But alas, what a sad way for Zidane to say goodbye to his international career.

With world cup over and a stagnant one month before EPL kicks off, I suddenly feel awkward that there is no more soccer to watch at night....so boring...

I think i'm hopeless. For the past 3 weeks, I have been watching 武侠 drama non-stop. From 神雕侠侣 to 天龙八部 to 射雕英雄传, it seems like it will not stop after I just bought 仙剑奇侠传 and zhong still has 绝代双骄 in his collection. Watch watch watch..hahaha

My laptop gave up on me on Monday. The fan suddenly died. The lucky thing is the repair only took 2days. I felt like a crippled person this 2 days. No internet, no online except my sister computer which I can't use long as she sleeps at a comparatively early timing.

What a match this morning. Italy deservedly dumped Germany out of the tournament. It will a exciting final between Italy and France. Oh ya, the other semis not yet played but I'm confident France will kick the ass out of Portugal.

I just finished watching 天龙八部, yes all 40 episodes of them in 4 days. I am damn bored at home, so I just watched day long. Yesh,天龙八部 also has 刘亦菲 inside.haha.. Next up: 射雕英雄传

Soccer betting is getting more and more frustrating. I have losing for few days in a row. The matches are getting more and more boring. Freaking hell, knock-out matches always ended up in low scoring games. Teams are practically defending most of the games. How to entertain the audience like that? I think Fifa should change the rules such that knock-out rounds eleminate both the teams if it ended up in goaless draw. Or have something like wild-card entry like Singapore idol. It will make world cup more interesting. Maybe because I am betting so I am so pissed with the low goals. Argh, I shall stop betting then. So pointless.

I shall make more $$ through legal means. Tuition and work.

I'm taking a rare breather off from watching 神雕侠侣 to blog as 2 ladies are asking me to blog because they are bored at work. I'm the type of person that once I'm hooked on something, I will just totally committ to it. So I am trying to finish it as fast as possible. Actually I have read the comic before, so I already knew the plot. But since I read the comic during my secondary days, a lot of things I have forgotten already. Haha... However the person acting as xiao long nu is quite cute.

Introducing 刘亦菲.
Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

However she only 19 years old. So young. Never mind. Adam's golden quote always can bring up to use : Catch them young, watch them grow.

I suddenly have an adrenaline rush for wu xia dramas. Oh no...

I realised being out of work really gives you much more time to do your own stuff. Too much at times. If not for 神雕侠侣, I would have been bored to death. I have already cleared my backlog of guessx3 variety shows since donkeys years. My only next job assingment is on 28June, leaving me with another week of bumming around. Ask me out, for lunch, dinner or movie whatever.

I start soccer betting AGAIN. Just when I think I quit for good after the first week, I entered my first bets again. And been placing bets for nearly every match. Bad Bad Bad. But I made a tidy profit, though I hate the dying feelings during the match while awaiting for the team to score. Damn it.

World cup is bad for health. After watching only 4 days and all 11 matches, I am currently suffering from a very low in resistance level. I am having a sore throat and cold while having headache in the mornings. Lucky I am not working right now, or else I will die.

Why am I torturing myself? haha...

Sorry never been updating. No excuses for being busy mugging and such since exams long over. But I just can't be bothered to update this site anymore haha.. okie, i will try my best to add in some entries here and there.

What have I been doing after exams? Work and more Work. Unable to secure an intern( actually I never applied for one at all), I am left with the option to look for work. I never bothered to look through classifieds as I had a bad experience to do a sales job. So I went to agency to register instead. Had been working 4 assignments already, all for few days.

1) Citibank suntec 5 days filing
2) TFWA(tax free world association) exibition usher 4days
3) Woodlands Primary School as referee for their sports day 2 days
4) currently at DBS Raffles giving out prospectus for their latest IPO offering Banyan Trees. last day tomorrow though. total 8 days.

My stint at Raffles left the deepest impression. Working at Raffles is a whole new experience can't felt anywhere else. With all the banks and investment centres there, it is the place to hang out during office hours and especially during lunch time. Very happening place... That left me with new aspirations but I shan't say it here. Rest assured I will work hard towards it..haha

Its been ages since I blog.. Its not I got no time to blog, but more of I don't have any enthusiasm to blog. Last time, I blog to let friends know what I am doing, but now I blog to just keep myself entertained- a form of diary probably.

Been working ad hoc this 2 weeks. Last week I was doing filing at Citibank and this week I am doing in the exhibition for duty free products, both at suntec. The exhibiton was more taxing. I was practically standing the whole day, with no chair for me to sit. And being in charge of the smoking lounge, the amount of passive smoke I inhale is no kidding matter. I think my life is shorter by at least 5years after this exhibition. But up till today, I have gotten used to the smoke already. Is this the signal of a smoker? oh no...

Jobless starting next week. What should I do? Rot??

The holiday mood is really wonderful. With no notes to read up, no tutorials to do, no assignments to do, no project meetings to discuss things, there is suddenly an overdose of free time. I am kinda bored to death at home even though I don't mind the boredom :o Most of the guys are working during the days so I can't find anyone out during the day. Have to force myself out today to sim lim square to walk around and scout for parts to make my brother's new computer. I have to find a work soon, to kill time and earn some allowance before world cup comes. YEAH!! World cup during holidays... How splendid timing.... Really looking forward to it...

EXAMS EXAMS!!! Its the fever!!..damn I sound like it's world cup coming... Finally had my paper today and it doesn't looks good. Wasn't expecting so much mcqs. As many people have known, mcqs doesn't necessary means its better, especially when the questions are kinda linked from one question to another and there are 5 options instead of the normal 4 options we are used during primary school days..haha.. hey 25% is much higher chance than 20% of getting correct man. With 5 options, it's virtually impossible to guess the correct answers man.

Okie cut the crap. The screw up thing of my paper today is that the mcqs got different weitage for different sections of it. The first exercise was 2 marks for each mcq, the second section 3 marks for each question(!!!!!!) and the last one 1mark each. I spend equal time for all of them, so you will know how screwed I am when I arrive to the writing part. Totally short of time, I just quickly brainstormed and scribbled the answers already. Sigh, Why I always do slow for exams!!!!...

Damn...

okie I just realised I didn't update for nearly two weeks already. So here I am, on my birthday, trying to squeeze some updates.

School has been hell as usual, with projects due even though there's only 2 weeks to exams. Can't express the farked up feeling. Even had to stay overnight on a Sunday to finish up my software.. in Nus.. sucky.

This semester's projects have been unusually heavier than last semester. The worse has yet to come I know. Group projects are even harder when we have to meet up to assign workload and stuff. The worse thing is, if people don't contribute towards the projects. It made the workload of the remaining people harder. My database project was a 5 man project with 4 of us aleady knowing each other. The 5th person was randomly assigned into our group. Other than the first meeting, this guy virtually disappeared from all signs of the earth.Means to contact him all failed and we conclude that he's giving up on his project part.

Argh things really get sucky when people are finishing their exams next week when I haven't even started. I want my freedom!!!!!!!!

Anyway, man u rox!!!... I definitely have to mention it after their defining defeat of Arsenal. Go! Get chelsea's ass!!...

I think the number of cars in Singapore are way above the amount the roads can hold. The sight of jams really irk me, even though I do not have to endure early morning or after-work jams everyday. Just on my way home from school it is jam everywhere. First jam: AYE. Then Keppel Road... and it was jam on ECP as well from Tanjong Pagar all the way to Fort Road. It took me double the time I normally took to reach home..

With more and people getting richer and richer, cars are getting easier and easier to buy. Low COEs, decreasing car prices, higher incomes all contribute to the state of traffic conditions Singapore has now- JAMS everywhere. What is the point of implementing ERP, increase road taxes, fuel prices and stuff when cars are still increasing...exponentially. This is bad. Very soon, we will reach the state Thailand is in.

More policies should be in place to determine who can buy a car. Maybe restriction like HDB where a family can only purchase a car. Or anyone earning less than a certain income are not allowed to buy. Y? I have seen so many freaking people who are only earning a meagre max 2k salary and they have the cheeks to buy a car. I don't know if they have done their mathematics that they will spent the next 10years being locked in the cell of debts and exponentially crazy interest. What are they thinking? They are spending more than 1/2 of their salary paying for car and they don't mind. For the pride and a mere convenience, they are prepared to eat grass everyday. Not very logical ain't it? Maybe I'm just jealous I don't have a car. But I certainly don't admire people who own a car but needs to take $$ from their poor parents when they realise they don't have the ability to pay for it ( somemore a WRX...what the hell)

what an unlucky day.... I lost my phone today... I guess its retribution, for keep suaning celest that she will lose her phone soon..alas, its my turn...

I lost it in the most unexpected fashion. Normally, I am damn sensitive to my wallet and handphone. I will die die check whenever I leave my seat to somewhere else. I will also check my seat to see if there's anything I left behind. But don't know why, I was seated on the 2nd story of bus 30. I was seated on the 2nd row near to the stairs. When I was nearing the bus stop, I apparantly didn't realise my phone slip out of my pocket. The worst thing: I didn't feel my pocket or check my seat as the stairs was just beside me. I just grab my bag, and walked down the stairs.

I only realise my horror the MOMENT I alight. I felt my pocket. EMPTY!!.. where's my phone? SHIT!!..in the bag? impossible. I don't put my phone in my bag. I did a quick check to confirm it. By then the bus has left. I PANIC!!. damn it.... I decide to try my luck and see if the phone still on the bus as I was seated on 2nd row. Only people from 1st and 2nd row will have noticed it.

But I only manage to hail one after 10min..sigh. I was thinking gone fuck already. so long... I still ask the taxi to chase the bus... Okie... The bus that day got turbo booster or what. I was 3 bus stops away from Harbour Front. Guess where I catched the bus? Near Ginza plaze....

I went up the bus.... No one on the double deck. Went to my seat, phone not there. Checked the surrounding floor. Not there... Confirmed...

And I wasted $8 for the taxt.. well done. At least the taxi uncle was kind to let me call my hp.

My mum let me either use the spare phone that is waiting to be sold Motorola V975( 3g phone ) or Motorola razr v3 which she is using right now. Which should I choose? haha....Felt bad to snatch the v3 from her ....

One of the most terrible week of my NUS life finally is over. A mad rush of presentation, test and project really drained me. I stayed in school on Wednesday the whole day from 8am( had my stats from 8 till 10) till 11pm to rush finish a project due on Friday that we started from "ground zero". On Saturday, I was in school from 10 till 8pm for another big project... Can't believe I stayed in school the whole day on a Saturday. That's really a fucked up feeling.

To those people who goes to school for projects every weekend, seriously you should get a life. There is more to life than to waste your weekend and meet some unreasonable expectations of your groupmates just because they cannot do on other days. I totally agree with Meng today that we should voice out that Sundays are out for projects because everyone deserved a break at least a day a week. If your groupmates tell you that other days are out because they have something on or whatever, you should also exercise your own right that Sunday is out for a break.

But well, I forsee myself in school till quite late this 2 to 3 weeks as 3 more big projects are due. Can a day be more than 24hrs?

I decided to take a break from mugging my stats test tomorrow. It's on stuff I learnt in jc days so I more or less have an idea what is going on. Hope so..haha

Things have been going on fast and furious these few days. I am supposed to be in the midst of the so called "mad rush." After my test tomorrow, I will be rushing with my project groupmate for the completion of our project, all in one day. Yes, right from 0 till done. We already prepare to stay overnight in school to do so. First time I am going to actually stay in campus one whole night.

Received a piece of news that one of the regulars during my army days had an operation for prostrate cancer. How come there are cancer everywhere man? What a horrible disease....

I even went to watch a soccer match at meng's house. and If there was cage in the afternoon, I would have gone too. What is wrong with me? I always place my priorities wrongly...

School's bad. So many things to rush, projects, presentations and test all within a week. Why must everything cluster ***k together? Blame it on luck. Of all like 8 weeks to be given for presentation, I got next tuesday. Of all weeks, the project for geography is due next thursday. Of all weeks, there is a stats test on Wednesday. And I am busy for a part submission due on Friday. Please let this horrible week pass faster before I went bersek.

The news have been publishing about the 3 unis reporting high rates of employment for last year's graduates. IT SEEMED the job market is on the pickup finally. The starting pay has also risen for most cases. A good sign for me who hopes to graduate soon and just grab any job out there offering a decent pay. The rest can worry next time. Please any worldwide disasters hold till I graduate and had a job... But I also wondered how accurate are the statistics provided by the 3 unis. I am quite optimistic about it... See how la....

I'm at limit point. The stress of so many projects' deadline getting nearer and nearer gives me the creeps and I seriously hope time will stop right now. And this is the only like the first week of school after the holidays. How am I going to survive any much longer? I'm starting to lose confidence bit by bit. I'm actually quite amazed how people in relationships can keep pace with the hectic schedules.I know I can't.

I need an avenue to spill out the lava from the volcano that is due to explode, hopefully not my family or my friends of course.

Just when I thought I can blog a rare entry, I forgot my password. It took me like 100 tries before I got it correct.

I always take mid-term breaks as indications of nightmares to come after the breaks. It was always after the breaks then the deadlines for projects start coming in, mid-term tests and also the lecturers starting to teach stuff that are out of the world( not interesting ,but damn hard). Of course, not to mention, the ultimate exam looming nearer.

Met up yesterday night for dinner with my jc bowling friends and get to hear this friend who is already working after graduating. She was working as an engineer for ST and she was commanding a pay of $2600. That was really high for starting pay but she said the best thing was the bonus. She claim last year, her colleagues had 5months worth of bonus. I was like wtf. That's a lot. Anyway, I can only dream long long about commanding that kind of pay after I graduate with my crappy results. I will be jumping for joy even if I can command a 2k starting pay. sigh, that's reality.
